iRobot asked us for a Mother’s Day social media campaign that advertised a small discount on its Roomba vacuum cleaner.
We thought: What if we created a campaign that promoted the Roomba by getting people to talk about the countless hours mom spent cleaning up our messes as kids?
Director Elizabeth Orne helped us capture classic childhood moments of mess-making, setting the premise of the campaign and driving fans to share their own messes on social.
We included a countdown to Mother’s Day on iRobot’s social media channels, which was interwoven with deals on the perfect “apology gift” for mom: a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner that does all the work for her.
