Ford had a problem. Most Ford owners were bringing their cars to cheaper auto repair shops for servicing and maintenance, which represented a huge revenue loss. They asked for a campaign that got drivers to consider the more expensive Ford Service.
We thought: If people were choosing repair shops based on saving a few dollars, let’s change the conversation. Let’s position our service techs as the people whose training, expertise, and care keep you and your Ford safe and secure for all the road adventures ahead.
In our hero spots, we used a motion control rig to create a seamless transition from the service bay to outdoor locations, connecting what the Ford tech does in there with what you do out there. The effect is almost completely practical,.

We created a three note mnemonic audio branding that carried over to future Ford owner communications. Inspired by the same three notes of the door chime heard when you get into your Ford, it’s a subconscious reminder that we’re there for you.
We also explored the human side of Ford Service, with quirky stories that focused on relationships among families, with service reps and even between technicians and Ford vehicles.
